FAQs (Policies)
Can I get a Refund if I don't like the result, it's Damaged or it gets lost in the mail?
No refunds. Materials, My Time, and prices that are shown on the invoice are not refundable. There is a $100 insurance for shipping if the artwork's base price is $100 or more. The post office is responsible for the shipping refund. If the cost of the artwork's base price is less than $100, it's at the artist's discretion to include shipping insurance. The patron will receive all the shipping insurance if it gets lost in the mail (via the post office). You may request additional insurance.

Return/Backup shipping address may be required due to post office standards. Please be ready to provide 2 addresses.

You also agree not to sue or to take any legal action by agreeing to the FAQS/ Policies by submitting a form or by purchasing artwork.

If the Picture is not fully paid for by the time of completion, the patron has 30 days to pay for the artwork. The 30 days starts the day after the day the art is completed and notification is sent to the patron. If it is not paid in full by the 30th day, then it goes up for sale or auction to the public. Frew's Artwork Reserves all rights.

If Frew's Artwork accidentally damages your artwork (beyond repair) there are 2 options available (Both Artist and Patron must be in agreement):

NOTE: This only applies while the artwork is in the care of Frew's Artwork.

Frew's Artwork Coloring Books:

There is no insurance added to the coloring books from the post office.

Tracking numbers are provided on the receipt from the post office.

A majority of the books are sent out at the same time.

Sometimes individual tracking numbers can't be determined but are assigned to each order.

A refund will only be issued if the patron has paid; the minimum criteria are not met and the book doesn't get published. Please ONLY request to be added to the preorder/ signup list if you are 100% able to pay by the due date. (NOT AFTER) NO CHECKS & NO CASH!

Can I add more Details to the artwork after the price and details have been agreed?

Sorry, this will not be possible. Please have everything finalized prior to the price agreement.
Do discounts stack? Can discounts be transferred?
Sometimes discounts stack. Discounts can only be applied to the base price. Fees and other areas on the invoice can not be discounted.
How do you receive payment?
Through digital applications. NO cash & NO checks!
Consultation must take place in order for a price to be given.

The Price agreement is a legal document, make sure that it is correct, and even if you didn't read this, or fill out the Contact form, you agree to the Policies regardless.
For Portraits, Exotic, and Colored custom artwork:
Half or full payment of the total cost is due before starting the picture. Payment in full is required prior to shipment to the address you provided me.

I will start your picture when it's your turn in the queue and you have made the deposit. I will NOT start your artwork until the deposit is made.
For Custom Coloring Books: PAYMENT IN FULL prior to start and immediately after price agreement has been made.
What the Flux?! Coloring Books: Paid in full when payment is due.
Prices are subjected to increase or decrease without notification.
Digital payment applications used by Frew's Artwork are the following:

Would you recreate an exotic drawing you already done?
Yes. I can recreate Exotic artwork.
Do you collect data?
Only the required information necessary to conduct my business.
Please do not provide me with any personal identification information (PII) that is unnecessary. I, Brittany Renfrew, Frew's Artwork is not responsible for your PII.
Store Items
Store items are all sold separately. The price shown is actual cost the item and does not include packaging and handling. (Packaging & Handling is paid in addition to the price shown)
Any pictures shown in the Store can be requested to be turned into merchandise. Such as hats, water bottles, bags, Canvas prints 14x16" only, Postcards, Coasters, etc.
©Frew'sArtwork reserves the right to copy. No other person has the right to take an original or a copy and reproduce it in any form, make any merchandise of it for their self or for retail. If you are caught doing so I will sue you because it is extremely wrong.
If you would like me to draw something and have it turned into merchandise, you must pay for both the drawing and merchandise. Merchandise is only available separately if the artwork is already displayed in the store.
Discounts do not apply to store items unless stated specifically.
What if I don't want my artwork posted in the Portfolio or on social media?
Then please let me know upon the START and the END of your artwork and I will not post anything on social media. If I do by accident please kindly remind me and I will remove it.
What are some things that you deem inappropriate?
I will determine what is inappropriate to draw and will respectfully decline it. Please keep it clean and respectful.
Picking Your Photos:
(Please see Photo Selection Page)
SIZE: Larger paper is better. (See Price Structure for Sizes/Prices). If you choose a smaller size paper then the least amount of people is better with their faces close up, maximizing all negative space.
Photo Black & White or Color: Portraits are better done in graphite for realism. Provide a color photograph if possible, even if the artwork will be created in graphite.
AMOUNT: Send me several photographs of each person in the portrait. Have at least 5 ready of each person. I will request more if needed.
CLARITY: Close up of the person's face. Can you see the outline of their eye and pupil or is a black dot/ line? Is it torn or ripped? No smudges, no blur. SHARP images. Not Pixilated.
LIGHTING: Is it too bright? Is it too Dark? Is there sunlight streaks? Is there discoloration?
*(If you are unable to meet these standards please speak with me to figure out your options. It doesn't mean your at a dead end.)
Do you provide a picture frame? How is it packaged?
No, the patron buys the frame separately. If you are unsure what size to get go 1" bigger than the size of the picture. (Ex: 18x24" get a frame 19x25").
Packaging:
For larger sizes, I typically use a variation of tubes. The primary packaging is Twist-N-Pull tubes. They are durable and the end caps are secured in place. The artwork is nicely rolled up and put inside the tube.

Before packaging, I use a special sealant to make sure the artwork does not smudge. It also helps preserve it. For smaller drawings, I ship it in a quality envelope, which may have bubble wrap inside and a cardboard backing to ensure no crushing.
Do you paint or do anything else other than graphite and colored pencils?
No. I only do graphite and colored pencil artwork.
What is Credit?
It is money that is saved on purchases and applied towards Frew's Artwork. (See Discounts)
What is the maximum amount of people in a single portrait?
Please consult with me and we can discuss this further.
What is Full versus Faces mean?
Full and Faces are terms used for Portrait artwork only.
Full includes the head, chest and other portions of the body.
Faces includes only the head and top portion of the chest.

Any additional items other than people may be additional cost.
Examples: background features, items held, words, a vehicle etc.
Copyrighted & Right Click Protection
Copyrighted Means: Frew's Artwork (Brittany Renfrew) reserves all rights. No one other than Frew's Artwork may reproduce, resell, resale, retail, copy, print, save data, paste, personally use, advertise own business, tamper, vandalize, misuse, incorrectly represent, Falsely or improperly give credit to, etc. to Frew's Artwork even after purchase without consent.
Right Click Protection:
You can not right click and copy, click and copy, save data via my website. Reduces the amount of people who abuse it.
Other Details:
Policies are subject to updates without notification.
Signatures must remain on the artwork.
Initial Contact Form (Request a Consultation)
REQUIRED: To be Filled out before messaging me via any other method. Required for every purchase. Yes, Returning customers must fill this out too. Review the Price Structure before completing this form and Photo Selection page. If 3+ days go by and I have not responded to the initial contact email please message me via Facebook Messenger. This does NOT confirm your order.
Why?
It creates a solid foundation when we start the consultation. It also reduces the time it takes to consult. Organizes the flow of requested orders. Confirms the patron has agreed to the Policies set forth on this page and other areas displayed on this site. It filters out commonly asked questions. Reduces confusion. Reduces the information on the invoice. Many reasons.
How Long Does it Take?
It's a quick easy form to fill out. This page, Click Contact.
How do I know if my Order has been Confirmed & that It will be drawn?
All 4 things need to happen to confirm your order...
1. Initial Contact Form needs to be filled out
2. Consultation (with photos & ideas ready to be presented)
3. Invoice sent to Patron for price agreement
4. 50% Deposit of total cost or 100% Paid in Full (PRIOR to Start)
Paid via Venmo app, Facebook Pay or Paypal ONLY no Exceptions
(Download/ Sign Up with 1 of these options BEFORE consultation)
Then, Frew's Artwork will draw your artwork in the order received & size.
* Frew's Artwork will NOT start drawing until the above criteria has been met.

What are the additional Fees?
The base price pays for my skill & time. Fees cover the cost of materials & other variables.

Fees are included as a set price depending on size, under the MATERIALS section of the updated invoice.

The bigger the size the higher the set material fee

In general terms, pencils, erasers, blenders, paper, etc.

Backgrounds are both a profit and a fee. A solid black background eats about 3-5 pencils on a 24x36". That is very expensive because I use high-quality pencils. Sometimes that requires buying a new box of pencils ($15-$35)
Cut Off Dates for Major Holidays May Vary.
(The deadlines are for artwork 11x14" or smaller. Larger pictures require several months in advance. I may still accept orders past the cut off dates. Please ask.
Month of Nov. & Dec. Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years = September 20th
February 14th Valentines Day = January 1st
Month of May & June (Cinco De Mayo, Mother's Day, Armed Forces Day, and Memorial Day) Fathers Day = April 5th
*General rule of thumb: Order at least 2-3 months in advance,
This does not guarantee it being completed by a specific date.
I work efficiently to complete it as soon as possible.
Social Policies
This includes commenting, reviews, posting, messaging, emailing, sharing media, text, audio, visual, communication, Socializing, conversations, actions, information, etc.
Frew's Artwork (Brittany Renfrew) is not liable or responsible for what is communicated via any method on or in relation to Frew's Artwork website, social media sites, social media, websites, any platform, device, or anywhere for anything or reason.
