PrismaColor Premier Vs. PrismaColor Verithin
> P.C. Premier is Softer (Can compare this to a 4B in Graphite) Wax Based. Vibrant. Good for shading, blending.
> P.C. Verithin is Harder (Can compare this to a 2H in Graphite) Wax Based, Thinner, more compacted lead. The Verithin are also easier to erase if working lightly. Can be sharpened to a finer point which makes it good for details. Not good for blending or shading.
> Both are soluble with oil based mediums and can be turned into washes on primed canvas surfaces or panels for under painting.

> Other Top Quality Colored Pencils: Caran d'Ache, Faber Castell (oil)
Graphite Artwork: Staedtler Lumograph
I primarily use Staedtler (BEST) however I still use other brands like Derwent.
Erasers:
Tombow Mono Erasers, Kneaded Erasers, etc.
Blenders: Stumps, Solvants, Pencils, Brushes, etc.
Paper: Strathmore
Bristol Smooth by Strathmore is by far 1 of the Top best selections of Paper. See Price Chart/Structure for Sizes I currently use. Has a Card stock quality feel to it, very smooth, Excellent for blending. Acid Free prevents yellowing & helps preserve the artwork longer. Good for colored pencils & graphite.
Paper: Strathmore
Medium Surface: The paper is thinner. Has a toothed surface (not smooth). Flimsy in feel. Good for layers, moderately good for blending. Harder to erase. More sizes available. Acid Free prevents yellowing & helps preserve the artwork longer. Good for graphite.
